Prism Reef

Sustainably cultivated coral,
raised close to home.

We're building a small-batch coral frag farm just outside Boston — propagating vivid, healthy coral with the same care and precision we'd want in our own reef tanks. Prism Reef is coming soon.

What we're growing

Aquacultured coral, grown where you can see it

Prism Reef is a small coral farm in Groton, Massachusetts. We grow SPS, LPS and zoanthid frags from our own mother colonies and sell them by mail order, shipped overnight.

Farm-grown, not wild-collected

Every frag is cut from colonies growing in our own tanks, so filling an order never takes coral from a reef.

Grown under light we engineered

We designed and built our LED grow lights, and the controller that runs them, in-house for these tanks.

The numbers, in public

Each listing will show what that frag was grown under — PAR, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, phosphate and temperature — and we'll post live readings from the tanks themselves.
